PROMISE MANAGEMENT PLATFORM DELIVERED TO VISION CONSULTING
Client Requirements
VISION was looking for an outsourcing provider who can build a highly customisable high performance Promise Management Platform to support Commitmentbased Management, a management discipline invented by VISION and deployed to VISION blue chip clients in utilities and financial sectors. Since the PMP was going to be delivered on the SaaS model, VISION also needed an infrastructure provider to manage hosting environment as well as the customer support personnel.
Our role
- Collect requirements
- Design the architecture of the platform as well as infrastructure and user interface
- Implement the platform using Microsoft technologies like .Net, SQL Server, IIS, SSRS
- Implement customisations for each client
- Manage hosting (firewalls, virtual machines, VPN), patching, security, and deploy platform upgrades
- Customer support over chat, email and phone
Results
Arvo Software delivered the platform as well as a number of customisations tailored to business needs of clients in utilities and financial sectors. We also built a production and DR hosting environments in a partnership with Sungard AS’ Enterprise Cloud Services. Support helpdesk was setup providing SLAcompliant technical support services to 400+ PMP users.
Client feedback
We spent years and millions developing the platform inhouse and we still did not have a product that was robust enough to be offered to our clients who we knew have very high IT standards. By outsourcing Application Development to Arvo software we got the product out to the market within a year and for the fraction of cost.
